In 2015 I decided to leave the USA and head to Mexico indefinitely; it started with a thought, an idea, which I decided to turn into a reality.
I’ve have the travel bug as far back as I can remember. I was born and raised in England, and fortunate enough to visit a number of European countries, via automobile, with my family at an early age. Before leaving England for the USA, I lived in Madrid, Spain for 2 years and Holland for 11 months, plus visited many European countries over the years. I arrived in the USA over 30 years ago and stayed.
Over the years for both business and pleasure I was fortunate to have visited Monterrey, Mexico City, The Yucatan, Guadalajara, and their surrounding areas, however I had never been to the Pacific Coast.
I chose Puerto Escondido (aka Puerto) as a starting point after researching on-line the Pacific Coast of Mexico. I starting my research with the North Pacific coast and worked my way down, when I reached Puerto I knew this was the place to start.
On June 15, 2015 I began my journey traveling from New Orleans to Puerto Escondido.
